Gauting – Without warning, a patient punched a paramedic in the face with his fist, pulled her down to him, grabbed her by the collar and shook her violently. The incident occurred early in the morning on Easter Sunday.
However, the aggrieved paramedic did not report to the Gauting police until this Tuesday. Accordingly, she and two male colleagues from the ambulance service were sent on Easter Sunday at 6 a.m. to a 27-year-old patient in Buchendorf, who was not feeling well. Due to the high blood pressure of the man, who comes from Penzberg, he should be taken to the hospital in Starnberg. On the way, the attack on the paramedic occurred – without prior verbal aggression – and was immediately helped by her colleagues.
A little later, the recalcitrant patient kicked a nurse violently in the arm with his foot, causing her to lose her balance and fly into a wall. The nurse just wanted to measure the Penzberg's blood pressure. The 44-year-old woman subsequently complained of severe pain in her right arm and shoulder.
After the attacker was obviously in an exceptional psychological situation, he was immediately admitted to a psychiatric hospital due to proven danger to others.
The paramedic suffered a cervical spine distortion due to the violent blow that hit her in the right temple and was subsequently unable to work for four weeks. According to her, however, the reason for her long inability to work was not due to her cervical spine pain, but due to a psychological blockage that the attack of this man had triggered in her.
Against the 27-year-old Penzberger, who has not yet appeared in the police, a procedure is now underway for two assaults on persons who are equivalent to law enforcement officers. A trial is now underway against the Penzberger for two attacks on persons who are equivalent to law enforcement officers.
