Less than three weeks before the gubernatorial election in Tucumán, which was postponed by a ruling by the Supreme Court of Justice, a strong controversy was added. The candidate of Together for Change, Roberto Sánchez, expressed his indignation because, he says, leaders of Peronism offer drugs in exchange for votes.
"The neighbors denounce that there are leaders of the ruling party who offer drugs in exchange for a vote. We are very indignant about this situation and we denounce it publicly so that they stop with this commodification of politics that kills young people from Tucumán," said the national deputy for the UCR and candidate for governor.
"One thing is the government advertising spots and another is what happens in the streets of neighborhoods and cities throughout the province. The fight against drug trafficking does not admit double talk," added the former mayor of Concepción and former rally driver.

After the precautionary measure to which the Supreme Court gave place, now the provincial elections will be on June 11, for which Governor Juan Manzur lowered his candidacy for vice governor in the formula that integrated with Osvaldo Jaldo.
"We know about the practices that try to buy people's votes in every election. The ruling party has perfected everything at its disposal to condition the freedom of citizens. Now, giving drugs to the boys in exchange for being voted for is intolerable," Sánchez said in a tour of Leales and Villa Fiad.

You can not fuck with the addictions that are doing so much damage to thousands of families in the province. We are going to deal with a problem that has also been abandoned by the State," added the gubernatorial candidate.
"We are going to beat those who think they own everything. The arrogance is over and better times are coming for the province," Sanchez said confidently.
Miguel Acevedo, Manzur's replacement
The governor of Tucumán, Juan Manzur, announced that he "took the definition of declining" his candidacy for vice governor of the province after the Supreme Court ruling that suspended the Tucumán elections, following a complaint from the opposition that indicated that the president was not authorized by the provincial constitution to run for a new term.
In the same message, Manzur reported that his place as candidate for governor in the PJ ticket of Tucuman will be occupied by the current interior minister of the province, Miguel Acevedo, a leader of his kidney in the internal party of the district.
Manzur indicated that the decision to step down from the candidacy was made in accordance with the gubernatorial candidate, and current vice governor, Osvaldo Jaldo, his main adversary within the local Peronism. Manzur and Jaldo were together at the conference.
Manzur, punctually, chains two terms as lieutenant governor and another two as governor, and ran for lieutenant governor once again.
"We have already decided, he is a good man, a professional who has worked with both Osvaldo Jaldo and me, he has always fulfilled an exceptional task. We think of him. He is the accountant Acevedo," the current Tucuman president told the media.
Acevedo's name, according to provincial spokesmen, was decided in the conversations that Manzur held in the last hours with his most trusted men, including Sergio Mansilla, current head of the Tucumán Legislature.
