At the side of pop star Helene Fischer, Barbara Schöneberger advertises for the discounter Lidl. However, this does not go down well with all fans.
Berlin – Lidl's new advertising campaign has been running for a few days and has some familiar faces to offer: Schlager star Helene Fischer (38), comedian Max Giermann (47) and presenter Barbara Schöneberger (49) are there. The latter was very enthusiastic about the recordings on the net - but got direct headwind from her followers.
Harsh comments for Barbara Schöneberger because of her Lidl campaign
Even Helene Fischer had to face devastating comments because of the Lidl advertising. The situation is very similar for her co-advertiser Barbara Schöneberger. In an Instagram video, she was still very enthusiastic and raved while she discovered herself, the pop queen and Max Giermann in the brochure: "God, we look good!" Nevertheless, her followers had a lot to complain about.
In the comments section, several fans vent their anger about the cooperation. "What don't you do for a good salary", "I also have to wonder, advertising for a discounter. Aren't there any more attractive partners?" and "Oh my God, what does a celebrity do for money," were some of the critical comments from Instagram users. Another is convinced: "Anyone who advertises at Lidl and Co. has lost control of his life."

In her Instagram clip, Barbara Schöneberger can't resist a saying about her curves. "It's a good thing that I'm holding such a big sign over my hips next to Helene," jokes the TV celebrity. In this case, she can look forward to benevolent words from her followers. "Why? Real, beautiful curves can always be shown," one fan wrote. Another was deliciously amused by her humor: "Barbara... simply delightful!"
