Update from May 25, 18:53 p.m.: After a car drove into the barrier of Downing Street in London, large parts of Whitehall are closed to the public, reports sky news. It goes on to say that officers searched the trunk of the car and found a large white layer.

Footage of the incident is said to show a small silver car that appears to be coming out of a parking lot next to the Defense Ministry building. The car crosses Whitehall and brakes abruptly before heading straight into the gates of Downing Street.

One witness said, "I heard a bang, looked up, and saw a crowd of police officers with tasers yelling at the man." The police were very quickly present.
