Vice President Cristina Kirchner left ahead of schedule to the great stage stationed in the Plaza de Mayo. She was hurried by the rain that began to fall timidly from 14 p.m. on the thousands of militants who at that time already filled the square.
Minutes after 15:30 p.m., the former president went on stage dressed in blue and white, with a large cockade and her usual rosary hanging around her neck.
Behind her drew attention to the presence of two of her grandchildren, Néstor Iván and Emilia, the two children of Máximo Kirchner, along with her son's former partner, the leader of Santa Cruz Rocío García, and his current wife, Jessica Montiel. Also present was his sister-in-law and governor of Santa Cruz, Alicia Kirchner.
Cristina also surrounded herself with the main political cadres who accompany her today. Axel Kicillof, Wado de Pedro and Sergio Massa were on stage in the front row of officials.
Although it was already known, the absence that most attracted attention was that of President Alberto Fernández and former chief of staff of Néstor Kirchner, just 20 years after the assumption of the deceased former president.
Already in electoral key, the vice president again attacked Javier Milei, without naming him explicitly. "When today we hear those who were disciples and collaborators of that minister (Cavallo) explain to us what they are going to do to us, because we do not understand the economy like they do," he said.
She recalled that "Kirchner was a simple lawyer" like her, but maintained that it was "the kukas who paid the fixed-term deposits with the Boden12, which is not an offer to go shopping in the afternoon."
"It is the bonus that was given to each one that when he went to get the dollars and pesos to the banks were not there," he said.
And he added: "Those dollars and pesos that the geniuses of finance stayed were paid by the kukas, Nestor and Cristina."
"Write down geniuses of the economy, we pay for it, the kukas," he concluded.
