Sun Shamsiye, a 32-year-old Israeli citizen from Acre, was stabbed to death in Dubai on Wednesday. According to Dubai police, Israelis ambushed him in a parking lot in one of the city's neighborhoods, committed the murder and fled. On Thursday, Dubai police released footage of eight Israelis arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder. One Egyptian citizen was also arrested.
The investigation revealed that the background to the murder was a dispute between two families of criminals who met in Dubai by chance and a fight broke out between them, during which Shamsiah was stabbed to death. The suspects are: Hassan Yajuri, Sameh Rubai, Salim Rabia, Mahmoud Rabia, Tal Zisler, Rani Kweish, Abdullah Johar and Mahmoud al-Sheikh.
