Embarrassing breakdown on the "Rausch" tour: Helene Fischer confuses cities at concert

2023-05-25T17:12:32.899Z

Highlights: Helene Fischer confused Oberhausen, where she performs five times in a row, with Düsseldorf, which is about 30 kilometres away. The chart-topper also reacted promptly to the city's name blunder: "What did I just say where I am?" One thing is clear: something like this will certainly not happen to her again so quickly. The setlist again included the big hits as well as plenty of material from their latest album "Rausch", whose release this October marks the second anniversary.

When Helene Fischer stopped in Oberhausen with her "Rausch" tour, an embarrassing blunder occurred. Because the pop queen confused the venue of the concert.

Oberhausen – 71 performances all over Germany, intensive, months-long preparation and acrobatic interludes that demand everything from Helene Fischer (38) and her dancers – the "Rausch" tour is a live spectacle of superlatives. Until October, the undisputed pop queen will travel all over the country with her new program and get very close to her loyal fans. But even a well-timed and highly professional event is not immune from one or the other blunder.

Everything for the Schlagerqueen: Fan of Helene Fischer travels from Vienna to Oberhausen for "Rausch" tour

Helene Fischer will play five times in a row at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen – she celebrated the big kick-off with fans on Tuesday evening (23 May). The setlist again included the big hits as well as plenty of material from their latest album "Rausch", whose release this October marks the second anniversary. Spending a lot of money and time on concert tickets and travel – that's quite normal for the long-time fans of the "Null auf 100" interpreter.

As waz.de reports, a concertgoer even made the long journey from Vienna to Oberhausen for the dazzling evening in the midst of thousands of Helene fans. He immortalized this achievement on a cardboard sign, which of course immediately caught the eye of the performer par excellence. "Man, we're coming to Vienna too," the news portal quotes the ex-girlfriend of Florian Silbereisen (41), "Why are you going all the way to Düsseldorf?" Wait a minute – something seems to be wrong.

This is how much the most successful live tours of all time have recorded:

U2 - "360° Tour" (834 million euros)Ed Sheeran - "÷ Tour" (773 million euros)

The Rolling Stones - "Bigger Bang Tour" (685 million euros)

"What did I just say?": Helene Fischer confuses cities at "Rausch" concert

It can happen to the best that Helene Fischer has confused Oberhausen, where she performs five times in a row, with Düsseldorf, which is about 30 kilometres away, but it is still very embarrassing to get confused with so many different concert dates. As waz.de further reports, Helene's statement did not escape the audience's notice – and the chart-topper also reacted promptly to the city's name blunder: "What did I just say where I am?" One thing is clear: something like this will certainly not happen to her again so quickly.
