A man from Kentucky's largest city is facing criminal charges after he allegedly shot his roommate during an argument over a Hot Pocket branded pie, authorities said.
Clifton Williams, 64, was arrested on assault charges Sunday after accusing his roommate of eating the last pie and then shooting him in the buttocks for it, the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department told local television station WLKY-TV.

According to police, the suspect began throwing objects at his roommate when he realized the last patty, which was for heating in a microwave, was missing. He then shot her in the buttocks as she tried to escape, the TV station reported.

Williams is prohibited from contacting the victim, who was taken to UofL Hospital in Louisville to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He was set bail at $7,500.
