Journal de Cannes: the actors under the sun

We imagined him more gourmet. Nanni Moretti vibrates on the terrace of a tourist restaurant on Rue des Belges. The Italian filmmaker has a lot to say. The possibility of a second palm perhaps makes him particularly feverish. His nostalgic film, Towards a Bright Future (the title is ironic), testifies to the inspiration that drives him.

Who to win the palm, then? Moretti's rating easily surpasses that of Wim Wenders and his Perfect Days. Ari Kaurismäki's Dead Leaves is high in the ranking. Melancholy is obviously a recipe.
