Miley Cyrus clarifies why she won't tour with her latest album: "I don't want to sleep on a bus"

"Being totally honest, I feel more connected to my fans now than ever," Cyrus begins her writing, which she titled 'A message from Miley'. "When I win, we win. And even though I don't see them in person every night at a concert, they're deep in my heart." The singer continues, "I'm constantly creating and innovating new ways to stay connected to my audience – without sacrificing my well-being."

As he clarifies in the message, some of his best memories have been singing in front of his fans, but in the end performing these demanding acts has also had a negative impact on his health and is something that, at that time, he does not want to continue doing. "Performing for you has been some of the best days of my life and we will continue on this journey together, as we have for the past two decades." The artist wanted to make clear her desire that her followers do not interpret her decision not to undertake a new tour as a lack of gratitude for all the support they have shown her, but an act of self-love. "It has nothing to do with a lack of appreciation for my fans. It has to do with the fact that I don't want to keep preparing for a concert in a locker room, which is the reality of life on tour."

In addition, the singer of hits like Wrecking Ball admits that the complicated logistics and discomfort involved in carrying out a tour is not something she feels like doing at that time. "The looks I'm wearing don't travel well. These file sets do not bend well. And I just don't want to sleep on a moving bus. It's not the best thing for me at the time." Even so, Cyrus clarifies that while she has made the decision not to tour for her latest album, Endless Summer Vacation – released on March 10 – she does not rule out the idea of doing one in the future. The last major world tour he made was in 2014, to promote his fourth album Bangerz, which included 78 concerts and passed through America, Europe and Oceania, extending from February to October of that year. Since then, the We Can't Stop singer has done smaller tours, such as the Milky Milky Milk Tour in 2015, which was held in only eight cities in North America, and the Attention Tour in 2022, which lasted less than two months and only included five concerts in Los Angeles and several cities in South America.
