Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah responded Thursday evening to the warnings of the head of Military Intelligence. "You are not the ones threatening all-out war, we are the ones who are doing it," the leader of the terrorist organization stressed in a speech given on the occasion of Resistance Day. "Every war will expand to all borders."
In addition, Nasrallah attacked the United States, claiming that there was no longer "American hegemony." "We are moving towards a multipolar world, which worries Israel. The Zionist enemy is hiding behind walls and is powerless and unable to impose conditions in negotiations with the Palestinian people."

Earlier this week, Military Intelligence chief Aharon Haliva warned that Nasrallah could take steps that would lead to war throughout the region. "Even with Hassan Nasrallah, after the mistake he made in 2006, there is a beginning to understand that the equations can be stretched vis-à-vis the State of Israel," Haliva said. "Unfortunately, the story of the terrorist at the Megiddo junction is not a one-time story, and Nasrallah is close to making a mistake that could plunge the region into a major war. He is close to this mistake from Lebanon and Syria."
"To this I add President Assad's growing self-confidence. We saw his recent visit to Saudi Arabia and his embrace with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the way he dismissively does not listen to Zelensky's speech, along with the fact that he approves the launch of an Iranian drone from Syrian territory. All of these create a high potential for escalation in the region, and we must be prepared so that our enemies do not understand the message we are conveying. Make no mistake, we are ready to use force and we will do everything possible and everything necessary to bring calm," Haliva added.
