Summary. On Wednesday, May 3, the Minister of Health once again said he was in favor of banning "puffs" in France, without however setting a deadline. François Braun denounces these disposable electronic cigarettes, marketed in France since the summer of 2021, which "bring some young people to smoking".
The "puff" ("puff" in English) is indeed all the rage with teenagers. Colorful, recreational, cheap... It has everything to be in vogue in colleges and high schools. If the "puff" is prohibited for sale to minors, it is easy for them to obtain it.
Tobacco experts fear that these e-cigarettes will make young people addicted to nicotine.
Code source returns to this phenomenon with two journalists from Le Parisien: Laura Wojcik from the video division, and Elsa Mari, health specialist at the Futures department.
