In Bavaria, there has been a curious large-scale operation. A traveler from Romania was presumed dead by the police – because of communication problems.
Kleinlangheim – A harmless nap triggered an extensive large-scale operation in Bavaria on Tuesday, May 23. The main reason for this was the communication problems between a Romanian coach driver and the police in Kleinlangheim, Kitzingen district.
Sleeping traveler triggers large-scale operation – because police think he is dead
On Tuesday, the driver of a minibus coming from Romania reported a fellow passenger missing. He had not appeared at a gas station and rest area in Kleinlangheim, where the bus stopped briefly, even after more than an hour. Therefore, the bus driver asked the gas station attendant for help, reports the traffic police inspectorate Würzburg-Biebelried on Wednesday, May 24.
This, in turn, alerted the police. But because of language problems, the police initially thought that the 47-year-old man was a dead person. Therefore, a large-scale operation was triggered, in which, in addition to numerous police forces, the fire brigade, rescue dogs, drones and a helicopter were involved.

Large contingent is looking for a traveler – he was just taking a nap
About two kilometers from the rest stop, the crew of the helicopter finally succeeded and found the missing traveler on a dirt road. According to the police, he calmly took a nap there and was well. He reportedly explained that he just wanted to stretch his legs a bit and then take a nap. (FHZ)
