"Love of our mothers, like no other". Swiss author Albert Cohen could not have better expressed the inescapable affection between a mother and her child, despite the ups and downs. On June 4, it is their turn to be honored on the occasion of Mother's Day. If a day is far from enough to thank, cherish and celebrate them, we take the opportunity to cover them with gifts and cakes. Whether they have a sweet tooth, a taste for fine bubbles or love to wear an apron, here is our gourmet selection for epicurean moms.

Seasonality
In preparation for the event, the pastry chefs have surpassed themselves while combining originality and seasonality. Unique and comforting in the image of mothers, the strawberry is one of the stars of this selection. Mother of two little girls, the talented Nina Métayer decides to slip generous pieces into a pavlova composed of a poppy whipped cream infused with black tea and an ultra-soft Genoa biscuit with almond.

La Tarte Tropézienne also chooses to revisit its traditional pie which this time takes the silhouette of a heart filled with fresh strawberries. For her part, the pastry chef of the Drugstore, Lena Thiam, delivers a charlotte with spring flavors, composed of an ultra-soft almond cookie. The same goes for the talented François Perret, who signs for the Ritz a strawberry tree wearing an elegant bouquet of flowers.

Passion for cooking
Cooking enthusiasts will be delighted to add a timeless addition to their collection: a charming Le Creuset casserole. This utensil that we keep for years is reinvented with a new candy pink color. For aficionados of Japanese culture, a sushi kit accompanied by a cookbook is the ideal gift.
We also take the opportunity to add some new books to the libraries of all enthusiasts. Solar chef Alessandra Montagne signs her very first book called De Rio à Paris: ma cuisine de cœur, in which she gives us gourmet stories between her country of origin and her adopted country. Enough to travel while simmering pastéis de queijo, coxinhas, feijoada, pearl barley risotto or foccacia.
Fine bubbles and spirits
Why reserve bottles on Father's Day? A nice selection of fine bubbles and spirits is also available to you, such as the 100% Norman grapefruit gin called Normandia. Composed of a maceration of citrus fruits and spices, it is illustrated by its vitality but also by its slight bitterness.
Rosé lovers will be delighted to discover the Grand Cru Classé de Provence from Château Galoupet or a box of vintage champagne signed Perrier-Jouët, containing the Belle Époque and Belle Époque rosé cuvées, slipped into an eco-responsible case, made from paper pulp and vine shoots. Whether it's champagne, chocolate or a nice book, there will be no bad choice!
