Less than 24 hours after the triggering of the kidnapping alert, the search device to find Eya, in Isère, was lifted by decision of the Grenoble prosecutor's office, says the direction of the judicial police. "The investigation continues and the elements collected through this alert are being exploited," adds a statement released this Friday morning.
The 10-year-old girl was forcibly abducted in front of her school early yesterday afternoon, boulevard Joliot-Curie in Fontaine, a commune of Isère. A kidnapping alert was triggered Thursday night.
According to the Grenoble prosecutor's office, the abduction was committed by the father of the child with the help of a hooded accomplice who gassed the girl's mother with tear gas in front of the school.
