Gauting - Once again this year, a young duck family will be well cared for by the Gauting town hall team. Even on weekends, the employees of the tax office look after the animals.

As has been the case for six years now, a mother duck has found a quiet spot on the balcony of the town hall to take care of her new addition to the family.

"For the first three weeks of life, the colleagues from the control office cared for twelve chicks and protected them from predators," reports Charlotte Rieboldt (Public Relations). They were relocated this week from their temporary accommodation in front of the windows of the treasury to the Würm, where they can now enjoy a life of freedom.

Gauting's town hall team is there for the duck family around the clock

Colleagues from the town hall have been taking care of this duck and her family for years, who apparently feel at home in the town hall. Even on weekends and in your free time. "It will be heartwarming when we can then bring the critters into the wild - healthy and well-fed and right in the middle of our beautiful Gauting," says Rieboldt. (kb)
