The new suspect in the fire of the door of the town hall of Bordeaux, referred Thursday, has been indicted. Accused of "damage to public property by incendiary substance in assembly", he was placed under judicial control according to the Bordeaux prosecutor's office. According to our information, this individual is still a student and 18 years old.
The fire, started on March 23 after a day of demonstration against the pension reform, lasted about fifteen minutes before being extinguished by firefighters. The visit of King Charles III to Bordeaux, scheduled a few days later, was canceled the day after the tragedy.
Four other men have been indicted for the same facts since the beginning of the investigation, including one who had admitted his contribution to the lighting of the fire in police custody. Two of these accused are remanded in custody.
