More than 6000 m2 of buildings, 2 hectares of park in the heart of Laval, a site steeped in history and dedicated for centuries to hospitality and mutual aid... Le Logis, the senior residence that opened its doors in June 2022 in the heart of Îlot Saint-Julien, in Laval, is not a place like any other.
The beauty of the place, caressed by the rays of the spring sun, strikes at first glance: the remains of the old hospital, created nearly a thousand years ago by the lords of Laval to welcome and care for the most disadvantaged, have been the subject of a very beautiful renovation.
"The project was carried out at a brisk pace despite the problems generated by the health crisis. It mobilized 40 artisans on the site for sixteen months and, on June 10, 2022, everything was ready to welcome our first residents. There are now about forty of them, including our 100-year-old dean!" says Marie Rollet, director of Le Logis.
