On stage, Cristina Kirchner surrounded herself with leaders who sound like possible presidential candidates but postponed definitions and made sure that no gesture of hers could be interpreted as a concrete signal. After having urged that "the children of the decimated generation" take the post, the vice president was careful not to generate noise in other sectors of the coalition, particularly in the Renewal Front, but on Thursday night suggestive posters circulated with her face and that of Eduardo de Pedro, with the legend "Wado is coming."
The sticker, as Clarín learned, began at the end of the speech given by Cristina and while from some sectors they read her presence with Sergio Massa as the staging of a formula in which the interior minister could be the pre-candidate for vice president.

There are two elements that fuel speculation. After days ago appeared painted "Wado con Cristina" motorized by the Lomense Martin Insaurralde and that Máximo surrounded the minister with a photo with dozens of mayors of the Buenos Aires PJ, this time the face of the vice president was included, something that in the middle of an electoral definition De Pedro would not be allowed without his endorsement.

On the other hand, the images of the posters, in different parts of the Buenos Aires Conurbano, were circulated from La Cámpora, the group that responds to Máximo Kirchner, and that was invited by the Minister of Economy to the tour that will face China this Sunday, to try the renewal and extension of the Swap.

The interior minister has been accelerating his movements in recent weeks and was emboldened after the wink that Cristina gave him days ago in a television interview, when she pointed him out as part of the generational change that the Frente de Todos needs. It was not the only sign: later, in the midst of much confusion, Neuquén Senator Oscar Parrilli reinforced the message by specifying the call "to those who joined politics with Nestor and Cristina."
As this newspaper reported, until a few weeks ago, La Cámpora supported Massa's single candidacy and sought to block the internal competition in the ruling party. The insistence of referents of different parties that make up the coalition for there to be PASO and the criticisms (with warnings included) of some referents to the figure of the Tigrense, as in the case of Juan Grabois, complicated the road map.
From Christianity, in addition, they distanced themselves from the strategy of La Cámpora and let it be known that behind the support of Máximo Kirchner there was not necessarily a wink from Cristina. Although the discussion is not yet settled, the last steps of the vice ratified that hypothesis.

She lets them run, let them all show themselves and then she will decide. There are still 15 days left," a trusted leader of the vice president told Clarín, who denies that Cristina has given a thumbs down to Massa's pre-candidacy.
But in the camporista ranks themselves today they observe this possibility in a different way. "It is difficult to carry a campaign on your shoulder with 100 percent inflation," laments a voice that until April was enthusiastic about the Tigrense. Cristina's speech, full of criticism of the International Monetary Fund and asking to breach the agreement signed by the current government, in the middle of the negotiations that Massa is carrying out in order to strengthen the reserves, accentuate the doubts.
Massa is not resigned and each of his management actions seem to revolve around sustaining consumption, one of the basic premises of any ruling party for an electoral campaign. Unlike what happens among other leaders who compete for the same thing, both in the Interior and in the Economy Ministry there is no crossfire: "There is a logical tension between those who want the same thing, but there is fair play and that helps a lot," graphs an operator of one of them. The good harmony on stage corroborates this.
But, while Cristina delays her decision, it is clear that Kirchnerism, facing a PASO, prefers to push hard for its own candidate and, given the resistance of Axel Kicillof to leave the area of the province of Buenos Aires, positions De Pedro.
This was done this Friday by the Minister of Labor of Buenos Aires, Walter Correa, an unconditional of Cristina, who considered that the candidate "has to be a companion of the majority sector" and highlighted De Pedro. There are those who trumpet the idea of moving forward with the signing of a public commitment for the members of all the lists. Something similar to what was imposed on those who in 2017 entered for Citizen Unity, when the aftertaste of the escapes of twelve legislators of the Front for Victory, among which was the former head of ANSeS, Diego Bossio, months after leaving power, made them be required to make explicit their willingness to leave their seats if they broke with the bloc.
The presumption of defeat invades even the most optimistic.
