Actually, a Flixbus passenger wanted to enjoy his journey – but the feet of a fellow passenger thwarted his plans.
Even the simplest things can sometimes throw you off course – or drive you crazy: a problem that travelers who choose public transport such as bus, train or plane are confronted with again and again. You try to turn a blind eye, but loud conversations from people sitting next to you prevent this, or you book a great seat for an extra charge and then suddenly someone wants to swap for free. Many small things can quickly lead to the journey becoming a test of endurance for you.
Feet on the seat: Flixbus passenger can no longer avert his gaze
Another form of traveler who always irritates others are those who get a little too comfortable along the way. At least that's how a Flixbus passenger felt recently, who found himself somewhat disturbed by a woman's behavior. He shared a video of the situation on TikTok under the username hey_andro:
On it, he can be seen himself trying to "enjoy his ride on Flixbus". However, he cannot do this, because "the lady with her feet also enjoys the ride". A pan with the camera shows what is meant by this: A woman has placed her bare feet on the free space next to her – clearly visible to the TikTok user, who probably doesn't like the view at all.

Divided opinions on the walking situation in the Flixbus
The short clip has already been viewed over 665,000 times on TikTok – users disagree on whether they should understand the annoyance or consider the situation acceptable: "They're just normal feet. It's okay, isn't it?" says a confused user, for example. Or: "Just let the people be themselves," they say.

But some don't take it so lightly: "It's like an accident ... worse, but you still have to keep looking," says one person. A second one agrees and explains: "That's why I have a car." While a large number apparently find the sight disturbing, there is also a part that considers it unhygienic to ride without socks or shoes: "Yes, with a bit of nail fungus here and there ... It's not like it's contagious," says one person, among others. On top of that, one or the other has already completely given up on public transport due to such incidents: "Never again. I had a real horror ride from Amsterdam to Berlin."
