In recent days from both sectors sought to lower the tone of the discussion and agreed that there will be consensus. "Fernán submitted to this decision and is willing to agree. There has been growth, but as Jorge says, there should not be a sudden change in what the polls have been giving," said a Buenos Aires official involved in Rodriguez Larreta's electoral strategy.
In turn, according to Jorge Macri's view, the interpretations on the roofs would be debatable: to impose himself he could argue that he would be more likely to grow with the probable vote of the PRO, that is, without counting the electorate related to Kirchnerism and the left, which in some cases could consider Quirós positively. The Minister of Government will also seek to attract the followers of Javier Milei.
In the Macrismo team they calculate that there will be a difference between the harvest of the libertarian in the City for president and the percentage that Ramiro Marra will get for head of government, and that those voters will be closer to Jorge Macri than to Lousteau. In that sense, the concurrent elections – the same day with different systems in the national and in the Buenos Aires, to separate the ballots – could mean an advantage for the PRO, after the resounding conflict that had generated between Rodríguez Larreta and the rest of the referents who questioned that decision harshly.
