After a day of exchanges of fire, the terrorist organization that controls Afghanistan claims to have captured several outposts on the border of the Islamic Republic A senior commander in the organization said: "If the leadership approves the operation, we will occupy Tehran"

An all-water conflict that has turned into an open battle: The terrorist organization that controls Afghanistan, the Taliban, announced today that it has managed to destroy several Iranian army outposts near the city of Zabul on the Iran-Afghanistan border. Yesterday, three Iranian soldiers were killed in an exchange of fire near the border crossing.

The organization's Ministry of Foreign Relations issued a statement this morning, saying: "The Revolutionary Guards carried out terrorist attacks from their vast bases on the border. Iran has shown no significant resistance so far. Their army is weak and feminine." The announcement comes against the backdrop of videos posted online by the terrorist organization showing pizzas of an Iranian military post alongside Taliban soldiers fighting from an Iranian border post.

The Taliban occupies and blows up Iranian army outposts

Footage posted online showed that the Taliban had moved a large quantity of artillery, armored personnel carriers and fighters to the border area during the past 18 hours in preparation for a major military operation. The organization claimed that it had managed to capture <> Iranian army outposts and advance about two kilometers into Iranian territory. Tehran denied the reports and techno said that the border area was quiet, after Iranian media published footage yesterday of Iranian military personnel firing mortar shells at the Afghan side of the border.

Yesterday, Abdul Hamid Khorasani, a senior Taliban official, sent a message to Iran, saying: "Don't test our strength or patience. You are in secret contact with the West behind the scenes. We are true Muslims. We will fight you with greater enthusiasm than we fought the Americans. If the leadership approves us, we will occupy Tehran."

The conflict between the terrorist group and the Islamic Republic of Iran began after Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi last week attacked the authorities in Kabul, accusing them of violating an agreement restricting the pumping of water from the Helmand River, one of Afghanistan's most important bodies of water that also flows into Iranian territory. Kabul was outraged by what they saw as an attempt to impose new restrictions on Afghanistan's water rights.

The border area on the Iranian side is part of Baluchistan-Sistan Province, a province whose residents are mostly members of the Baloch minority, which belongs to the Sunni stream of Islam. Over the past year, the region has seen great unrest and at times a real armed rebellion against Tehran's rule. The Afghan Taliban has some support among Baloch religious extremists and may try to use this to extort concessions from Tehran.
