Cleaning Guru Warns: The Fatal Mistake We Must Avoid - Voila! Home & Design

2023-05-28T20:52:05.996Z

Highlights: Anne Russell argues that many people make a mistake when it comes to storing their cleaning products: "It might kill someone." She also explained how to avoid the mistake. If the product comes in a box that you think should be thrown away, put the product in a plastic bag and close it with a clip. If an animal or God forbid a child touches these products, a problem can arise. Opening fillings, for example, may kill a child who puts it in his mouth if he does not receive timely medical attention.

Many people fill designer jars with cleaning products, including washing powder or dishwasher tablets and all sorts of disinfectants to avoid cardboard boxes from piling up in the house. But cleaning guru Anne Russell warned that this "aesthetic trend" could be deadly.

"There's a reason why they're telling you to leave these products in their packaging," she explained to The Sun, "it's for your safety. Someone asked me if it's bad to do it - and the answer is yes it's so bad, please don't do it. If the product comes in a box that you think should be thrown away, put the product in a plastic bag and close it with a clip."

Opening fillings, for example, may kill a child who puts it in his mouth if he does not receive timely medical attention. Anne added: "You need to keep these packages away from the children and you may lose precious time trying to identify what material is in which jar."
