The e-bikes of Lidl's own brand Crivit convince with a great price-performance ratio. For €1,699 you get a powerful battery, StVZO-compliant lighting and more.
Crivit is Lidl's own brand that covers the discounter's sports offerings. The urban e-bikes impress with their price-performance ratio. The Urban E-Bike Y costs only €1,699 at Lidl. The Urban E-Bike X sports model also costs 1,699 euros.
With the battery integrated in the seat tube, you can drive up to 70 kilometers. A special feature is the torque sensor built into the pedals. The harder you pedal, the more the rear hub motor will help you ride. This has 250 watts and accelerates from zero to 25 kilometers per hour in just a few seconds.

The comfort version: the Crivit Urban E-Bike Y
The Urban E-Bike Y is 50 centimeters high and can carry a maximum of 100 kilograms. It is suitable for a height of 160 to 190 centimeters.
The tires are from the Kenda brand and 50 millimeters wide. Tektro brand hydraulic brakes are installed at the front and rear. The saddle of the Justek brand is made of foam and is supposed to be particularly comfortable.

The Sport version: the Crivit Urban E-Bike X
The Urban E-Bike X is the sportier version of the two Crivit models and differs from the Y only in a few points. The e-bike X does not have a low entry like the e-bike Y, the saddle is designed for a more agile riding experience.
Tires and brakes are the same, but are designed for slightly taller people between 170 and 195 centimeters. In addition, the frame of the E-Bike X is slightly larger than that of the E-Bike Y at 57 centimeters.

Pre-order e-bikes at Lidl
While both models will not be available in Lidl stores until June 1, you can already pre-order them in the online shop. It pays to be quick, because the discounter expects high demand.
To secure a Crivit e-bike, all you need is the free "Lidl Plus" app. You have until 25 May to reserve one of the e-bikes exclusively via the app. From 1.6. you can pick up the bike at a Lidl store of your choice.
