Erdingerin (22) murdered - her boyfriend (22) is also dead

A 19-year-old from Erding was murdered in Sauerlach on Saturday afternoon. Her boyfriend is considered an urgent suspect.

Erding/Sauerlach - The 22-year-old, who comes from the district of Deggendorf, injured himself so badly after the crime that he died a little later in hospital. The homicide squad of the Munich Criminal Police is investigating.

The drama took place in the afternoon hours on a clearly visible, straight dirt road on the northeastern edge of the 6700-inhabitant community in the district of Munich. There is a homestead nearby. Around 14:15 p.m., the Munich police operations center received an emergency call from witnesses who had found the young woman's body lifeless on the forest path. It turned out that the 19-year-old comes from Erding. This is where the Criminal Investigation Service and the Homicide Squad of the Erding Criminal Investigation Department are now investigating. Several media outlets report that the 19-year-old was stabbed to death.

Not far from where the body was found, the officers found the seriously injured 22-year-old. A rescue helicopter flew him to a Munich clinic, where he died on Saturday evening. He is said to have self-inflicted the injuries.
