A fainting spell led to an accident on Dachauer Straße early Friday evening.
Erding - According to the police, an 83-year-old came off the road with his Mercedes Benz opposite the Hagl nursery. By a hair's breadth, the car would have captured a pedestrian (44), before he drove into the construction site of the Erding-West industrial estate and stopped there in a large puddle of water. A tow truck pulled the car out again. When the patrol arrived, the pensioner was already responsive again. As a precaution, he was admitted to the Freising Hospital. The damage amounts to about 2700 euros.
