Whether in the studio, at the well-known locations around Ellmau and Scheffau or on steep mountain slopes - a lot is demanded of the series stars for such a production.

Although they are still working on a number of other projects during the shooting months, the "Bergdoktor" stars spend a large part of their time in the Wilder Kaiser region. It is understandable that you want to focus on comfort and not, as you know it from many other TV sets, live in caravans or trailers.

Hans Sigl's secret guest role in "Der Bergdoktor"

Since 2008, Hans Sigl has embodied the title hero Martin Gruber in "Der Bergdoktor". The exciting life of the country doctor inspires millions of loyal fans with every episode and has made his actor one of the biggest stars of the German television landscape. But what very few people know is that the role as Lisbeth Gruber's son is not Hans Sigl's first appearance as a mountain doctor. Ten years before he slipped into the white doctor's coat, he was already seen as a taxi driver in the popular series, which was still running on Sat.1 at the time and which focused on Gerhard Lippert, a completely different mountain doctor. Who knows – maybe one day an extra from the ZDF remake will be Hans Sigl's successor?

In her Instagram story, she films from the window of a noble hotel with a view of the impressive landscape around it – which looks more like a relaxing holiday than a stressful working day.

The hotel from Ronja Forcher's Instagram story is the Kaiser Lodge in Scheffau. As can be seen from the website of the luxurious complex, the various rooms, including a mountain apartment or a lake suite, cost from 330 euros per night – for a penthouse, guests even have to pay 1,000 euros.
