A new shooting in Nantes. On the night of Saturday to Sunday, a man was wounded by bullet in the district of Chatenay, say the firefighters of Loire-Atlantique in a statement released in the morning.
The facts took place rue de Saint-Brévin, around 00:10. A shooting broke out in the street, during which a 27-year-old man was wounded in the abdomen. He was
taken care of by the fire brigade and transported in serious condition to the University Hospital of Nantes.
The victim remained silent
According to information from our colleagues from Ouest-France, about fifteen shell casings were found on the ground. The victim, whose prognosis is not life-threatening, has since been under police custody in his hospital room but has refused to speak to investigators. The man is already known to the police, especially for offences related to drug trafficking.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the judicial police. This is the second man to be wounded by firearm this week in Nantes.
