The Knesset member who is leading the legislation and changes in the judicial system came to a panel on legal reform in the Check Point building at Tel Aviv University. This is an event organized by the student cell of the Likud and Blue and White. The invitation that was distributed also brought protesters against Simcha Rothman.
Hundreds of demonstrators greeted him this morning with boos, drums and displays dressed in red. They shouted various slogans at him while holding Israeli flags. Rothman, as can also be seen in videos from the incident, arrived at the scene under a security escort and barriers were set up at the scene that were breached by some of the demonstrators who intended to disrupt his performance.
