Tefillin as a gift: Savyon residents moved the fighters - voila! Judaism

Highlights: The residents of the community embraced the Border Police fighters and gave them dozens of pairs of tefillin. The event was led by the local Chabad emissary and council rabbi, Rabbi Shmuel Bistritzky. The righteous Gaon, Chacham Nissim Ben Shimon, spoke congratulations on the importance of the mitzvah to protect the fighters. The pleasant event was voiced by singer Lior Narkiss, who also shouted "Shema Yisrael" with devotion and singing.

A moving event was held just before the holiday of Matan Torah at the Chabad House in Savyon, led by the local Chabad emissary and council rabbi, Rabbi Shmuel Bistritzky, and attended by dozens of families from the community and dozens of Border Police fighters.

As part of the event, the families adopted the fighters and gave them pairs of tefillin as gifts. For a long hour, each fighter approached a resident who had bought tefillin for him and received the precious gift with excitement.

The righteous Gaon, Chacham Nissim Ben Shimon, who honored the event with his presence, spoke congratulations on the importance of the mitzvah of tefillin to protect the fighters in their important mission, and thanked them for their dedication to their sensitive and important role. Chacham Ben Shimon also warmly congratulated the host and initiator, Rabbi Bistritzky, for his many actions to bring people closer and unite.

The pleasant event was voiced by singer Lior Narkiss, also a resident of the community, who also shouted "Shema Yisrael" with devotion and singing with the soldiers.

At the end of the event, the fighters thanked Rabbi Bistritzky and the families of Savyon residents for their special care and hospitality, and especially for the important gift they received.
