At the Western Wall, a prayer rally and pleas for Rabbi Gershon Edelstein's healing will be held this evening (Monday) at 18:30.
100-year-old Rabbi Edelstein felt ill on Shavuot night and asked to be evacuated to Mayanei Yeshua Hospital. During the night, his condition improved, so prayers and Shabbat and holiday meals were held in the hospital. He is still hospitalized for observation.

A source close to the rabbi said, "Rabbi Edelstein is staying in the hospital and going about his daily routine as usual and studying in his room. In previous days, his condition improved following the prayers and encouragement of your people, the House of Israel. However, his medical condition is Egyptian, and in the past 24 hours there has been a change and a regression in the results of the tests. The stronger the prayers, the better the rabbi's condition becomes."
