Already on Friday, a Holzkirchen motorist overlooked a 12-year-old student. He was lucky in misfortune.
Holzkirchen - On May 26 at around 7:45 a.m., a 54-year-old man from Holzkirchen drove his car from Föchinger Straße into Rosenheimer Straße. When turning, a 12-year-old student suddenly crossed the road with his scooter from the foot and bike path. He had headphones in his ears and overlooked the turning car. The boy had not worn a helmet.
Schoolboy landed on the hood
The car driver tried to brake, but did not manage to do so in time and touched the boy, so that he landed on the hood of the car and fell to the ground. The motorist immediately rushed to help.
Blessing in disguise
Fortunately, the boy was only slightly injured in the collision. His abrasions were treated by the rescue workers on site.
The car suffered property damage amounting to about 2000 euros in the front area.
Motorist expects investigative proceedings
An investigation was initiated against the car driver for negligent bodily injury in a traffic accident.
