Police suspect that a 15-year-old pedestrian killed in Tel Aviv eight months ago was murdered, and was not injured in a car accident as initially believed. Suspicions changed during the investigation, which revealed that the incident occurred against the background of a dispute between the parties. As part of the investigation, several other suspects were arrested, one of them a 19-year-old resident of the city, whose detention was extended today (Monday) for another four days.

The incident took place last September. The boy was initially seriously injured after being hit while walking on Menachem Arber Street in the city. At some point, the driver of the car appeared on the scene and hit the boy, who was later pronounced dead at Ichilov Hospital. Police said at the time that the driver was driving without a license.
