The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which is affiliated with the Syrian opposition, told the Saudi Al-Arabiya network on Monday that five foreign fighters whose nationality is unknown were wounded in last night's attack in the Damascus area. According to the report, the attack focused, among other things, on sites where Hezbollah operatives are located, but the identities of the wounded have not been verified.
Al-Arabiya also reported that Israeli aircraft attacked an anti-aircraft battery of Assad's army in which Hezbollah fighters were present. They also attacked a site in the village of Aqraba near Damascus and another site near the international airport of the Syrian capital.
"Israel should be afraid." Nasrallah (Archive),
In a speech last week, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said, "The one who should fear a major war is Israel. I say to the Israeli chief of staff - you must pay attention and not mistake your assessment. Don't make a mistake in Gaza or the West Bank or Syria or Lebanon or Iran, which will lead to the explosion of the entire region and could lead to a major war in the entire region, which could lead you to an abyss, if not extinction."
