In the middle of Pentecost tourist traffic, a 45-year-old man from Garmisch-Partenkirchen sits on the main road in Kaltenbrunn and drinks beer. Now the police are investigating - not only because of dangerous interference with road traffic. The drunk also gave the stinky finger to many motorists.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen - "There are now climate drinkers in Kaltenbrunn," writes one in the comments. Numerous videos and photos have appeared on social networks over the long Pentecost weekend. They show a man calmly drinking a beer in the sun on a chair at a table. Nothing unusual on a sunny Whitsun weekend - if it weren't for the fact that the 45-year-old from Garmisch-Partenkirchen is clearly tipsy sitting in the middle of the federal highway 2 in Kaltenbrunn.
On Friday, May 26, at around 17:20 p.m., the Garmisch-Partenkirchen police station received several emergency calls about the heavily intoxicated resident. "The resulting danger situation for himself and other road users was obviously accepted by the heavily intoxicated man," writes an official in a press release. Not only that: According to the police, the man from the district town even insulted passing motorists by presenting them with his middle finger.

Drunk is taken into custody - police are now investigating and looking for witnesses
The 45-year-old was then taken into custody by police officers and brought to sober up in the prison cell of the PI. However, the drinking bout in holiday traffic probably had less to do with a protest action, even if it is deliciously amused in the social networks. He is now being investigated for dangerous interference with road traffic and insult.
