A viral video shows a driver and his passenger going through a wildfire in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. People aboard the vehicle drive with minimal visibility as burning foliage and smoke surround them. At a certain point, they narrowly avoid colliding with the vehicle ahead.
The fire has consumed more than 700 hectares until Monday. Although no injuries have been reported, the authorities decreed a state of emergency for seven days and have ordered a hundred families to evacuate the area. Electrical and communications services have also been interrupted in the area.
This month Canada has registered unprecedented waves of forest fires that have put the population on alert. The latest phenomenon was recorded in Alberta, when tens of thousands of people had to leave their homes due to the flames.
