A 15-year-old who was punched in the face by a drunk. A rioter who had to be fixed by the police. And a case of exhibitionism. The security forces had a lot to do at the weekend at the Weilheim folk festival.

Weilheim - Because "someone was probably just hit in the face", paramedics had waved on Saturday evening around 23.30 p.m. the police officers, who were already on the fairground. When they arrived, "two people fled," according to the police report, but were caught up and arrested by the officers. A 21-year-old Peißenberger was identified as the perpetrator of the bodily injury, the second person was his friend, both intoxicated. The victim, a 15-year-old Apfeldorfer, came to the hospital with minor facial injuries. "The reason for the physical attack of the perpetrator was an apparently previous verbal provocation," the police said.

Rioter (20) had to be fixed by the police and carried into the cell

Previously, another Peißenberger, 20 years old and heavily intoxicated, had demanded the officials. Because of his aggressive behavior, the 20-year-old was to be brought out of the marquee by the security service at around 22:45 p.m. and expelled from the premises. Because he did not comply with the request, the police were called in. "The young man also did not comply with a police expulsion and became increasingly aggressive," reports the PI Weilheim. He began to insult the police officers and, after threatening custody, turned his fists at them. When they then arrested him, the Peißenberger tried to kick the officers, beat them and insulted them continuously. In the end, the rioter was arrested and had to be carried to a police cell, where he spent the rest of the night. Two police officers were slightly injured during the operation. The accused now faces charges of assault, threats, insults and resistance to law enforcement officers.

Wessobrunner suddenly showed his penis at the beer table

Because he had to vomit due to excessive alcohol consumption, a Wessobrunner (22) was unpleasantly noticed in the marquee on Sunday around 29 p.m. The security service brought him out of the tent, but the 29-year-old returned shortly afterwards – and suddenly showed his penis at a beer table where two women aged 19 and 21 were sitting. The security service then handed the man over to the police. In addition to a reprimand with a house ban, criminal proceedings were initiated against the Wessobrunner on suspicion of exhibitionist acts.

Damage to property in the vicinity of the fairground

According to the police, two other incidents on Saturday in Weilheim may also have to do with folk festival visitors. Around 1:10 a.m., residents had reported that a man on Paradeisstraße was distributing garbage bags on the street and parked cars, flipping up windshield wipers and damaging vehicles. The police were also able to determine the former on site, but no concrete damage. In case of damage, vehicle owners should get in touch.

In addition, a patrol at 23 p.m. found a bent traffic sign on Wessobrunner Straße (damage: approx. 150 euros). The officials do not assume an accident, but rather a folk festival visitor deliberately twisted it or held on to it too much due to alcohol, according to the police report.

The police are asking for clues
