"Instead of looking for a car for my daughter, I had to look for a plot of land for her": Karin El North, a 17-year-old high school student from Petah Tikva, was killed last weekend in a car accident on Highway 4 near the Shiva interchange. Yesterday she was supposed to celebrate her graduation and today she will be laid to rest in the proper rest cemetery in Kfar Saba.

Karin was riding a motorcycle with an acquaintance on a Friday afternoon. During the ride, the motorcycle slipped and Karin was critically injured. She was pronounced dead at the scene. At the Yitzhak Shamir School in Petah Tikva, the high school where she studied, a memorial corner was established in her memory. In addition, the twelfth grade graduation party was postponed due to her death.

Her father said painfully: "She just finished twelfth. She received her license not long ago, and soon she had to run out of escorts. Instead of looking for a car for my daughter, I unfortunately had to look for a plot of land for her. Karin was a very talented child. She loved life, she had a lot of girlfriends. She was very independent, from a young age. She was always involved in several things together – sports, classes, theater, dancing, directing, creating. Also worked. She didn't sit at home for a moment, she always had employment. I can't believe she's gone."

Last Friday, a motorcycle with two riders, a man and a woman, skidded near the Shiva interchange. Paramedics and paramedics who arrived at the scene were forced to pronounce Karin dead at the scene and provided medical treatment to the man who was evacuated to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in serious condition with multi-system trauma.

The senior paramedics, Issachar Weiss, Yosef Kurdi and Elior Yosef, said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the two riders lying on the road next to a motorcycle on the side of the road, a woman lying without a pulse and without breathing and suffering from a multi-system injury. We performed medical tests and unfortunately had to pronounce her dead. A man was conscious and suffered multiple systemic injuries. We gave him life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to hospital in serious condition."
