An undeclared rave party that began in the night from Friday to Saturday in the countryside of Roybon (Isère) and gathered up to 1,500 people, ended Monday, announced the prefecture. The gathering "has just ended with the dismantling of the sound systems and the departure of almost all participants on Monday evening," the prefecture said in a statement.

The gendarmes of Isère and Drôme, bordering department, checked a total of 1,775 people, 1,264 vehicles and noted 179 offenses including 123 drug use. The rescue system, composed of six rescuers from the civil protection association and six firefighters including a nurse, took care of 30 people for minor problems. A crisis unit had been triggered by the prefect of Isère to coordinate the actions of the gendarmerie and emergency services.

The owner of the field, whose harvest was "devastated", filed a complaint Saturday with the gendarmerie. According to the local press, this gathering took place near the Bois des Avenières, near the former ZAD (zone to defend), occupied between 2014 and 2020 by opponents of the Center Parcs project led by the Pierre et vacances group, finally abandoned in the summer of 2020.
