It has been more than three years since the last regular edition of "The Helene Fischer Show" was broadcast on ZDF. Now the pop queen is raising hopes that there could soon be new episodes.
Oberhausen – On December 25, 2011, "The Helene Fischer Show" flickered across German screens for the first time and finally entertained Schlager fans every year during the Christmas season. In 2020, however, the TV spectacle was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic. Since then, the event has disappeared from the program. Now, however, Helene Fischer (38) herself raised hopes for a comeback.
On stage, Helene Fischer talks about a comeback of her show
At the moment, the "Atemlos" interpreter is still busy elsewhere and is on a big "Rausch" tour, where Helene Fischer even performed hand in hand with her partner Thomas Seitel. The pop star will celebrate the end of the tour in Frankfurt in October. This would give the musician some breathing space during the Christmas season to delight her fans with a new edition of "The Helene Fischer Show".
Helene Fischer even stirred up hope herself. As schlagerprofis.de reported, the 38-year-old spoke about the ZDF show at her concert in Oberhausen. About a comeback of "The Helene Fischer Show" for the year 2023, she says: "I have great hope." Did she blunder the whistle and betray ZDF's plans? In any case, hope is growing among her fans.
The Helene Fischer phenomenon in numbers
With more than sixteen million records sold, Helene Fischer is the most commercially successful singer in Germany, making her one of the world's highest-earning musicians. Her albums "Farbenspiel" and "Best of Helene Fischer" are among the best-selling music albums in the country. So it's no surprise that the music awards are thrown at her: Helene Fischer has an incredible seventeen Echos, eight Golden Hens, three Bambis and two Golden Cameras. In 2015 she received the Bavarian Television Award for "The Helene Fischer Show". Helene Fischer's only concert in Germany in 2022 took place on August 20, 2022 in front of a record crowd of 130,000 fans in Munich – the biggest concert of her career. The first 100,000 tickets were sold in 24 hours.
Out of shape? Helene Fischer has several mishaps on tour
Since the birth of her child in December 2021, Helene Fischer has been stepping back considerably. The "Rausch" tour is her return from maternity leave. But the return to the big stage is not going smoothly. At her show in Oberhausen, she not only spoke about "The Helene Fischer Show", but also confused Oberhausen with Düsseldorf, as the WAZ reported. Shortly thereafter, a piece of fabric of her dress came loose and had to be patched up again by quick helpers.
