The "scribe grandma" from Appercha celebrates her 99th birthday. The highlight of the celebration was provided by her grandson Stephan.
Appercha – There was a lot going on last Wednesday at Schreiber/Wendt in Appercha. Magdalena Schreiber, best known to FT readers as the "Schreiber-Oma", celebrated her 99th birthday.
The first guests arrived at a hearty white sausage meal and later for coffee and cake. The highlight was dinner including a champagne reception at the Hotel Landgasthof Hofmeier in Hetzenhausen. 35 guests were invited and experienced an unforgettable evening with family and neighbors. News and memories were exchanged, the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren finally saw each other again and gave grandma a lot of joy with her presence.

But the biggest surprise came to her grandson Stephan Schreiber with the musical accompaniment of the evening. He had teamed up with four musician friends and played to the delight of all guests. Magdalena Schreiber was touched and grateful for the love and care that had been shown to her on her special day and throughout her life. She has given a lot to the family in the past and now it's just time to let herself be pampered.
