Police arrested three men from the south on Monday on suspicion of assault and brutal robbery of an elderly woman from Kfar Saba.
A few days ago, Kfar Saba station investigators began an accelerated investigation upon receiving a report about a resident of the city in her 70s who was brutally robbed in her home. The initial investigation revealed that the three suspects identified themselves as police officers, entered the victim's home, handcuffed her with cable ties and an electric cable, and threatened to rob her of tens of thousands of shekels in cash and a luxury watch.
As stated, an accelerated investigation conducted at the Kfar Saba police station using technological means led today to the arrest of two Ashkelon residents, aged 2 and 32, and another suspect, a resident of Segev Shalom in the Negev, aged 25.
The detention of the first two suspects was extended this morning by the Petah Tikva court until this coming Sunday (2.4.6), and the additional suspect will be brought to court tomorrow (Tuesday) for a hearing on a request to extend his detention.
