Sixteen residents of the north were arrested Monday night on suspicion of involvement in violent incidents stemming from a conflict between criminals. The detainees are affiliated with the Bakri criminal gang, which is apparently connected to criminal activity in the north, such as protection collection, extortion and even murder.
