Six traffic accidents, some of them serious, have overshadowed the Whitsun weekend in the district of Erding. A collision on Saturday near Erding ended particularly badly – a man is in mortal danger.
Erding - Around 12 o'clock, the police reported, an Erdinger (55) was traveling with his Ford Focus on the state road 2084 from Dorfen in the direction of Erding. After Ammersdorf, the car came off the road for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree. The man was trapped in the legs, the Erding fire brigade freed him with heavy equipment. With life-threatening injuries, a rescue helicopter flew him to the Harlaching Hospital. The damage amounts to over 10,000 euros, the road was closed for about two hours.
A fainting spell led to an accident on Dachauer Straße early Friday evening. According to police, an 83-year-old came off the road with his Mercedes Benz opposite the Hagl nursery. By a hair's breadth, the car would have hit a pedestrian (44) before he drove into the construction site of the Erding-West industrial estate and stopped there in a large puddle of water. When the patrol arrived, the pensioner was already responsive again. As a precaution, he was admitted to the Freising Hospital. The damage amounts to about 2700 euros.
Drunk off the road early Saturday morning, an Austrian (22) on the state road 2082 near the turnoff to Wifling. According to police, the man drove from the airport tangent in the direction of Erding, when his Suzuki came off the road to the right, overturned and remained on the roof in the field. The Austrian suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Erdinger Klinikum.
On Sunday around 10.20 a.m., a 35-year-old from Unterschleissheim turned between Berglern and Moosburg from the Upper Roman Road onto the state road 2331. He overlooked the car of a 19-year-old. He had to swerve and crashed into a telephone and a delineator. The Honda was a total loss of 12,000 euros.
The Dorfen police had to record two bicycle accidents on Sunday. On the Vilstalradweg between Taufkirchen and Dorfen at noon, two cyclists from a group got into each other's enclosure and fell. The Walpertskirchener (47) and his companion (44) suffered minor injuries, the Wörtherin was driven to the hospital.
Around 17:45 p.m., a 71-year-old man from Dorfen fell with his pedelec on the way from Rumbach in the direction of Puch. He got away with a heavily bleeding head wound during the tour with his wife (73). The officers found him to have a strong smell of alcohol. He has been indicated. Ham
