After the death of Karin Bauman last Tuesday and at the end of the swearing-in, her mother Yehudit Bauman and her singer husband Shimi Tavori expressed outrage at the medical decision to anesthetize her on Monday despite the fact that they expressed strong opposition and asked that it be avoided.
Although she believes that the decision to anesthetize her ultimately led to her tragic death, Yehudit stressed that she was not seeking to sue the hospital but pledged not to rest until she understood why her pleas were not heeded.

Following the publication of Yehudit's remarks, and not surprisingly, many web surfers were quick to respond to the issue, while alongside supportive and reinforcing comments that shared the family's grief, there were also those who attacked her conduct and chose harsh words to express their anger.
For Shimi, the attack crossed a red line and he chose to cry out and express his anger in a highly charged post he published this afternoon. "I want to talk about the comments that are written about Yehudit or me and Karin," he said, warning: "Stop the bad comments. Judith, G-d created one in the world like her," showered his wife with love as he recounted her 15-year struggle to save Karin's life. A struggle that he himself has been involved in for the past 7 years. "Nothing to do with anorexic or non-anorexic or modeling. There are patients who died from the disease and there were no models," he said, then went on to point a finger directly at Ichilov Hospital, where Karin was treated.
"We brought Karin to the hospital talking and breathing, and the doctors decided to put her to sleep. We asked, Yehudit begged, 'Don't put her to sleep.' I was there too," he said of the dramatic moments they experienced. "As soon as she was put to sleep, he walked on her," he said.
"How could it be that an hour before that, when we brought her, she was fine? As soon as we put her in the hospital, all of a sudden, 'It's not working, the heart isn't working,' they're not sure she'll live. We begged, we cried, 'Don't put her to sleep,'" Shimmy reiterated the request to keep Karin conscious. "She was put to sleep and that's what happened," he said.
Towards the end of the video, Shimi wanted to mention that there is a God and He pays everyone. "You with your bad reactions towards Judith and Karin, God will pay you," he said angrily. "Write nice things, may God bless you," he requested, and of those commenters who choose to attack the family, he said again: "God will beat you more than what happened to us. Stop cursing and talking unpleasant things. I will see another bad reaction, I will curse this person from heaven," he promised. "I'll curse him and his children and his brothers. Stop writing bad things. Enough," he concluded the video.

A spokeswoman for Ichilov Hospital said: "We are sorry to hear about these claims after years of dedicated and compassionate and humane treatment. Thanks to the treatment, Karin was able to survive despite her condition for years and we share their deep sorrow at this difficult time."
