Video: Netanyahu's trial continues State witness Ari Haro (Roni Knafo)
The state's witness in the 2000 case, Ari Herro, who was Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's chief of staff, said Monday that Netanyahu feared that Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Noni Mozes was recording their meetings. During questioning by his lawyer representing Moses, Herro said there had been an order to remove phones from the room due to concerns about security recordings.
Despite the instruction, Mozes' lawyer confirmed that at one of the meetings, the publisher of Yedioth Ahronoth brought telephones into the meeting. However, she later sought to clarify: "Mr. Moses never recorded." On the other hand, the state's witness claimed that he did not remember the incident. "I don't remember specifically, I do remember us saying phones are left out," he explained.

Last week, Herro was asked by Netanyahu's lawyer, Amit Haddad, if he thought he was "a victim in the prosecution's attempt to convict Netanyahu," and Herro said he was. In addition, the lawyer continued to argue that the state's witness agreement signed with Herro did not allow him to tell the full truth. "You're a victim trying to catch my client, confirm to me that's how you perceive yourself," Haddad said, to which Herro replied: "I definitely feel that way."
