Last night, the unusual weather in the south led to road closures and flooding. In the afternoon, Route 40 was closed to traffic in the area of Nahal Tarshim, between Mitzpe Ramon and Tzichhor. Later, Route 90 was also closed to traffic from the Ein Bokek area to Ein Gedi. In addition, the section from the cliffs of Dragot to the south was closed. The entrance and exit from Kibbutz Ein Gedi were also blocked to traffic due to flooding.

Already on Sunday, the police issued a warning of danger due to the rain, and urged the traveling public not to go to the areas of streams and unregulated water reservoirs. Police said it is forbidden to cross flowing streams and to exercise caution and obey officers at the obstruction posts.
