His days are not a priori in danger but he probably comes back from afar. A 23-year-old man living in Trappes (Yvelines) was targeted by armed men in the street on the night of Sunday to Monday. Hit by several bullets, he was hit only in the lower and upper limbs. Police sources suggest injuries to a wrist and ankle.
The facts would have taken place around 23 p.m. at the square of the Commune-de-Paris, one of the seven squares of the Merisiers district. According to our information, the man was moving on foot when several individuals wearing dark clothes would have got out of a car to fire in his direction. They may have been armed with a 9mm pistol and a rifle.
The preferred track of settling accounts
Despite his injuries, the man reportedly managed to flee from his attackers. He was taken care of shortly after by firefighters who immediately transported him to the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital (Val-de-Marne). His state of health was then considered "serious".

In all likelihood, this shooting would be the result of a settling of scores, possibly against a background of drug trafficking. The investigation for attempted homicide was entrusted to the judicial police.
In early May, another young man in his twenties was shot and wounded in the city. The victim, originally from the nearby town of Maurepas, had managed to take refuge with a relative living in the square of the Commune-de-Paris.
