Right at the start of the descent, the man from the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen broke in with his skis in the soggy snow and tipped to the side, reports the police. He then slid down the 40-degree steep slope while lying on his back. He then fell about 340 meters further into the depths, over rocky and steep terrain. His companions called the mountain rescue, but the emergency doctor could, according to the police, only determine the death of the man.
