In Sauerlach near Munich, a woman was found dead on a dirt road. The police find evidence of a homicide. A day later, the suspect also dies.
Update from May 28, 2023, 16:55 p.m.: In a press report, the Munich police give details in the alleged homicide of a woman near Sauerlach near Munich. As a result, the emergency services were informed by emergency call on Saturday (May 27, 2023) at around 14:15 p.m. about the discovery of a dead woman. The police took up the investigation with a "large number of forces", according to the report.
Background and information on the persons concerned remained open for the time being. On Sunday (28 May), the press and public relations department of the Munich police headquarters announced that the dead person was a 19-year-old woman. A 22-year-old man, living in the district of Deggendorf, was discovered a little later near the alleged crime scene with serious injuries.
He is suspected of killing the 19-year-old woman. The 22-year-old was delivered by rescue helicopter to a nearby hospital, where he died on the evening of May 27. On the part of the police, it is said that he may have sustained the injuries himself. Further investigations are ongoing.
